01 — Place
Dublin
I was born and raised in Dublin in a small area called Sallynoggin, on the south-east side of the city. I attended a school near the Ringsend area of Dublin 4, a port town rooted in history just shy of some of Dublin’s most historic landmarks like Boland’s Mill and the GPO. I spent the majority of my teenage years here, and have always felt more connected to that area than my own — given the tight-knit, old-school Dublin community.
02 — Career
Work
Approaching my tenth year of full-time employment at 26, I was not lucky enough to attend college back home. Instead I worked multiple jobs and found myself in a sales position in a luxury health club, which eventually led me to software sales. I’ve been in this industry for just over five years and continue to learn on a daily basis.
03 — Off the clock
Personal life
I am an avid sports, music and film fan, and spend the majority of my time participating in one of those three things. Back home, I played the Irish national sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling (GAA) for fourteen years, as well as football, golf, boxing and basketball. Music has always been a passion, and my love for Irish music in particular has grown since leaving the country in 2023 — you could say the further you stray from home, the closer you are to it. I am a big film fan, and my top four is one that changes constantly. Check out the quiz in the film section to see if you can guess my current list 👀
